Who doesn't love a creative guest book idea? For my wedding I went with the photobooth guest book, which I treasure. For my friend's upcoming shower I wanted to give her something that she can look at for years to come , that will remind her of this special time in her life and the people who love her. I for one love going through old cards and letters and getting hit with the sweet realization that I am truly loved and cared for by my family and friends. And who doesn't need that every once in a while?
I came across this gorgeous idea on Pinterest and wanted to DIY but realized it would be costly to print these on the same luxurious paper and it would be time consuming to cut them all the same size so they become the beautiful keepsake I'm hoping for.
I also considered these expensive beauties from BHLDN ($14 for 10) but 50 total would set me back a pretty penny.
Instead of going crazy I combed the web for an affordable ready-made alternative. I was so pleased to find these cards for less than $16! At 50 they are the perfect amount for a shower.
You can also purchase the fancy wooden box that goes with these, but I opted for a cute fake book box I already had laying around the house.
I held the instruction card up with a tiny clothespin found at the Target dollar spot. Easy peasy!
What alternative guest book ideas did you come up with?
