GUYS. Hold. The. Phone.
I just came across this video in my Facebook feed via Practically Functional and immediately had to DIY it! Basically it involves putting a bunch of fabric scraps in a wipes container and letting your toddler go to town (like they usually do with a poor, innocent tissue box).
This is brilliant for 2 reasons:
Step 3: Stuff the box or Layer in Fabric for a Pop-Up effect
Since my scraps are pretty uniform and about the size of a wipe, I decided to layer them in so that when one is pulled, it pulls the other up, just like a tissue or wipe. See below for a sequence of how I laid them in. Pro-tip: this is also a great way to store small, thin baby washcloths!
Here's the finished product.
I'm pretty happy with this in terms of ease of throwing it together and my little one seems pretty happy with it too! You can be super creative with this by changing up the wipes container, how you decorate, and varying the fabrics for a variety of colors and textures. Thanks for letting me share my take on it with you and don't forget to click over to the original post to show some love!
